Product Overview
Regeneration is a piece about growth and renewal. It is evocative of the healing process, with moments of peace, steady gains, painful memories, and renewed strength. Initially written for piano, the band transcription was completed in 2021. The piece was later premiered in Hershey, Pennsylvania by the combined forces of the Lebanon Community Concert Band and the South Hanover Township Band under the direction of Keith Richardson. In keeping with the theme of the piece, the premiere performance took place in the summer of 2022 - just as the world was beginning to open up again in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
