Chris Aycock

A classically trained pianist and composer, Chris Aycock has cultivated a diverse background in performance, composition, and musical direction. He previously served as Music and Drama Director for a camp in New York State and later as Music Director and arranger for the premiere of a musical theater production performed at North Carolina State University.
Chris’s compositional work spans a variety of instrumental settings, including piano, strings, and brass. He studied under Larry E. Schultz in Raleigh, North Carolina, whose mentorship contributed significantly to their artistic development. His body of work includes a range of compositions, such as a programmatic piece for French horn and piano, a lively duet for cello and violin, a pedagogical piano minuet, a majestic work for trumpet, and a playful flute piece. Among these is Mysterious, a soulful composition for violin and piano, along with many other works.
Chris currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his family and their mischievous dog.
