Joy is a composition written in honor of my wife to celebrate our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
The work is characterized by a playful spirit, complemented by an expressive adagio section that adds emotional depth and contrast.
Structured in ABCA form, the piece features an engaging dialogue between the violin and cello, whose interwoven lines create a sense of movement and interplay. This musical “dance” between the instruments fosters a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere, effectively embodying the spirit of joy.
