Product Overview
Dedicated to Tom Beck and the Green Tour of American Music Abroad, Fanfare for a Journey was written to be performed at indoor and outdoor concert venues throughout Europe. Accented and dissonant brass figures are colored by flourishes in the woodwinds. Lyrical solos in the flute and trumpet (incorporating important octave and seventh intervals) contrast the marcato style of the beginning and end of the piece.
