THE DREAM OF NOW is the title of one of my favorite William Stafford poems. Composed in 2013, this was the second time I used one of Stafford's poems to set music to. To me, the text is a huge inspiration and a powerful reminder that no matter what challenges we face in life, we can move forward to see better days if we don't lose our hope and will.
