Product Overview
Pantheon for orchestra started its life as a piece for mass double reed ensemble. Hearing it as a more expansive work, I expanded the double reed score out into a piece for full orchestra and adjusted some elements to make it more characteristic of the orchestra. The piece trades off with sections of music that is powerful and dramatic with those that are more intimate and lyrical. Upon completing the orchestral version, the piece seemed like Pantheon, Roman temple of the Gods. It seemed like an appropriate title!
