John Schimminger

John Schimminger is Hymnist/Composer-in-Residence at St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church in Buffalo, New York. His works have been performed at churches throughout Buffalo and the Western NewYork area and at places
as far flung as Philadelphia; Los Angeles; San Jose, California; Prescott, Ontario; and Ballyclare, Northern Ireland. In addition to multiple choral works in the Imagine Music Publishing catalog, several of his hymn tunes are included
in the Darcey Press publication In Melody and Songs: Hymns from the Psalm Versions of Isaac Watts. His hymn When Comes the Time is included in the collection Hymns for the Holy Other assembled by the Hymn Society of the
United States and Canada. His setting of The Serenity Prayer was commissioned by Alan Ryan as a tribute to Al-Anon.
