Product Overview
Kubik composed his Divertimento No. 2 in the late 1950s, completing it in 1958. The work is scored for a diverse ensemble of eight instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, viola, and piano. The Dialogue for Oboe and Viola is the fourth and penultimate movement of this work. The entire Divertimento No. 2 is rarely performed, and it seemed a shame that this duo was not available for performance on recitals as a separate piece.
