BCMCC

The mission of the BCMCC is to foster and promote the bassoon as a chamber instrument. By holding a competition every other year for new compositions featuring the bassoon in a chamber setting, the BCMCC will increase repertoire available for bassoonists and help with public awareness on the versatility of the instrument. The BCMCC endeavors to encourage new music for the bassoon, offer opportunities to composers, and increase public interest in the bassoon.
