Product Overview
"Vesti la giubba" is an aria for tenor from the opera Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo, which premiered in 1892. It is sung at the end of the first act, when Canio discovers his wife's infidelity but must prepare for a show by playing the role of "Pagliaccio", the clown. Enrico Caruso's recording of the aria in 1902 was the first song in history to sell a million copies.
This arrangement adapts perfectly to the lyrical characteristics of the trombone and euphonium as it allows the performer to show all their expressive potential.
