Mike Keegan

Mike Keegan (BA - UW-Whitewater and MM - UW-MIlwaukee) is a freelance horn player based in Milwaukee, WI. Mike is the Founder, Executive, Musical, and Artistic Director of Eastwinds Chamber Ensemble, also based in Milwaukee. He is also an Artist-In-Residence at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Milwaukee's East Side. As a frequent recitalist and soloist, Mike promotes new music for horn, solo and chamber and performs with different bands and orchestras in the Milwaukee area. Solo appearances include the Greendale Village Band, Philharmonia Orchestra Racine, and the International Horn Competition of America. He has performed with the Cathedral Chamber Players, Milwaukee Choristers, and Ozaukee Community Chorus. Mike performs with the Prata Duo, Steve Wolff, Piano/Organ, Hornucopia Horn Quartet, and St. Mark's Brass, and is also an active studio musician. Mike is a member of Delta Omicron and the International Horn Society. In addition to his musical activities, Mike also belongs to the National Stuttering Association.
