Product Overview
Alfred Hitchcock was known for making films based on his phobias. I decided to write about one of my own fears of growing up in the Midwest. Completed in the the Summer of 2018, this unique work for orchestra is about the terrifying F5 tornadoes that occasionally become a reality. Based on a repeated motive rather than a theme, the work transitions through the life cycle of the wind disaster. A longer contrasting theme, based on the feeling of desperation, is heard between the motive sections. Duration: About 2 minutes, 40 seconds.

The 3rd Flute, 3rd Clarinet and 2nd Oboe are optional.
