Ernest Brandon
Ernest Brandon has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from North Central College, a Master of Music from Northwestern University, and three years of additional graduate study at the University of Illinois. After eight years teaching high school band and choir, he began a thirty-five year term of teaching voice at Eastern Michigan University. During that time he performed in several operatic and oratorio roles. The clarinet was his performing instrument in both high school and college. Upon retirement (emeritus) from EMU, he began to pursue his early interest in composing. Since that time he has had several short works published.
