Tony Hyde

Tony Hyde was born in New Haven, Connecticut.  He attended Berklee College of Music from 1960-19464, and received a BM in Music Education from Boston Conservatory in 1964. Mr. Hyde received his Masters in Music Composition from Boston Conservatory in 1967.  While there he studied with Dr. Avram David and Reuben Gregorian. Heserved as band director and instrumental music teacher in greater Boston area from 1965- 2016. Mr. Hyde was a member of the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop in NYC from 2005-2008 . He has been previously published by Walrus Music (CA) and Kendor Music (NY) . Mr. Hyde currently serves as a freelance writer ,arranger, and performer in the greater New England area .
