Product Overview
The title LAMENT, is derived from the Latin word “Lamentum” which means, “A feeling or expression of grief: a lamentation.” LAMENT was inspired by the wonderful students I was blessed to instruct, while a music teacher at Madison County Central School, Madison, Florida.
LAMENT is dedicated to my French horn teachers; Clarence Day, Ralph Lockwood, Ward O. Fearn, Douglas Hill, and Dr. Kristen Johns. Each one of them were a tremendous influence in my life. I was blessed by knowing them, and I'm grateful to for the impact they had in my life.
It is my hope that LAMENT will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used in helping to motivate and encourage their horn students.
