Joshua is an arrangement of the popular spiritual. This unique setting contains numerous examples of text painting, which bring the piece to life. Joshua begins with a catchy theme in the bass voice that reoccurs throughout the piece. This singular arrangement continually alternates the melody between all four voices parts.
Joshua received honorable mention in Imagine Music Publishing’s 2009 Pathways Series Composition Contest.
