When I was growing up, I used to like watching the sun peek over the horizon. My room faced east so I could watch the sun rise and see how it would change positions in the sky throughout the seasons. I still like to watch the sunrise and see the sun peek through the clouds, sometimes evening hiding behind the clouds and have some rain before the sun shines fully upon the ground. My favorite time is watching the sunrise in the spring, just after a soft spring rain. The dark gloomy sky starts to appear light as the sun shines through the clouds as the dark sky slowly gives way to the warm spring sun.
