Product Overview
The title Castle Builder was inspired by a poem of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, “The Castle-Builder,” about the imaginary heroics of a young, dreamy boy. Written for The University of Toledo Wind Ensemble, I wanted my music to capture the exuberance and optimism of these talented young musicians. I hope my music inspires performers young and old to “rise and reach upward to the skies,” to “build on” and to keep “faith in mysteries.”
