Product Overview
Capriccio Noir for Piano and Chamber Orchestra was written as a gift for my wife, a concert pianist, to play in concert of my music given by the Symphony of the Vines, Greg Magie conductor, in 2018. This was a special treat for me, not only that it was a concerto of my music, but I was also given the honor of guest conducting this piece with my wife as soloist.
Written in the style of a big band chart, it provides the chamber orchestra something a charming and different for programming including saxophone in the orchestration and multiple open sections for improvised solos.
