This is a nice Christmas piece that works well for elementary (6th Grade) Bands. It is a good teaching piece to work on dynamics and to introduce intonation between sections. It is also a nice introduction to syncopated rhythms for the percussion and they get to play some other auxiliary percussion instruments, which is fun for them. Low brass and low woodwinds are double nicely and the bells double the flute part.
