This patriotic tribute is sure to move your audience and be appreciated by the entire community. Opening with a short fanfare reminiscent of the Star Spangled Banner, the piece moves into Battle Hymn of the Republic featuring the low brass section and emphasizing some woodwind technique. The trumpets serve to add force and drama to the segment. Following a short transition, the woodwinds are featured in introducing America. America climaxes with a powerful impact incorporating the melody into the trumpet section supported by strong low brass chords. The piece concludes with a reprise of Battle Hymn of the Republic. An exceptional arrangement designed specifically for the competitive parade band. It is easy to teach, due to the incorporated reprisal of material. Suggestions for horn moves and step changes are added into the score.
