Michael McAndrew
Michael has been playing piano for eight years and composing solo piano works since he was 13, but he recently came out on to the choral scene this year, as his debut work By My Side for four-part chorus premiered at his final high school chorus concert in May of 2011, as he conducted the debut. He called upon his friend, Erica Gerichten, during production of By My Side, and he stumbled upon her talent with words. Since then, the pair has continued to collaborate on multiple choral works. Michael graduated from Valley View High School in Archbald, Pennsylvania in June of 2011, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Composition from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
