Mark Hoerbelt

Mark Hoerbelt holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Ithaca College (1990) and a Master's in Music Education from UNC-Greensboro (1994) with two years of credits towards a Docorate in Choral Conducting also at UNC-Greensboro (1997-1999) . Presently, Mark teaches choral music at Alexander Middle/High School and is the choir director, handbell director, folk group director, and organist at Resurrection Parish in Batavia. At Resurrection Parish he has composed anthems, psalm refrains, and the Parts of Mass for his adult choir and handbell choir. Over his career, Mark has performed in and conducted over 30 musicals and 10 operas. Mark lives in Batavia, NY with his wife Lauren and their three children,Abigail, Elise and Madison.
