David Davis

David Davis

David Davis is a concert saxophonist, arranger, and music educator.

Davis specializes in saxophone ensemble arrangements, informed by extensive performance training and experience of the instrument.

As soprano saxophonist of the Downbeat Magazine award-winning LUX Quartet, Davis performed chamber and concerto programs throughout the Midwest, and, in 2011, performed live on Wisconsin Public Radio as a winner of the Neale-Silva Young Artists' Competition.

As a soloist, Davis won the 2010 Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Young Artist Competition and has performed solo and chamber recitals in the Milwaukee, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., metro areas. Davis received a degree in saxophone performance and instrumental music education from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin. He actively performs and teaches in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
