Solace is dedicated to my first French horn teacher, Mr. Clarence Day. Mr. Day was an electrician who played the horn professionally in local Pinellas County Florida symphony orchestras. He was an outstanding teacherwho motivated me, and I'm grateful to him for the positive impact he had in my life.
It is my hope that Solace will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play and provideother music educators with a teaching tool that can be used in helping to motivate and encourage their students
