Product Overview
This short composition for string orchestra is the first in a set of three dances. The other two are a Minuet and Virginia Reel.
The Bolero has three distinct “voices” throughout: bowing, pizzicati, and strumming (a la guitar) all the while maintaining its seductive and hypnotic rhythm. The players must take care to play together in order to keep the rhythm clean and precise.
