Explorer level = middle school
Mountaineer level = high school
Summit level= advanced
The Pathways Series is a selection of band and choir compositions hand-picked by composer Daniel Baldwin. Each composition was selected for its structure, ability appropriateness, musical creativity, and educational value. The Pathways title illustrates the journey young musicians make as they grow. They begin with music that's both smart and fun; by the time they reach high school, they're playing music that's sweeping and epic. All of the music in Pathways is memorable and pleasing to director, musician and audience alike. The mission of Pathways is to initiate a lifelong love of music, resonating far beyond the classroom.
